There are very few meals that I actually make for my family. My husband is the chef of the house and we depend on him for the most delicious meals. One meal that I do make, that is really simple and really tasty, is my carne asada nachos.
Ingredients you will need:
Sliced Black Olives
First you will want to BBQ your carne asada. I figure a half pound per person.
Once the meat is done, cut it into small squares.
Preheat oven to 370.
Using a glass pie dish or a glass casserole dish, layer chips, cheese, black olives and carne asada. I do two layers in the pie dish but it will depend on how much you are making.
Put in oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
While cooking, prepare your guacamole, refried beans and tomato. You may also like sour cream and salsa on the side.
Once your nacho’s are done baking, you can plate and serve. If you did two layers, take off the first layer, plate and then stick the second layer back in the oven for 5 more minutes.
You may have to adjust the time in the oven for larger/smaller batches.
Seriously one of my favorite dinners. It’s filling and everyone loves it.
